Swine Flu.....

So is anyone else paranoid about this swine flu thing? I know I am. I am kinda a nervous nelly and and germaphobic. I really hope that it doesn't get too bad. I know there have been no reported cases yet in Colorado and I hope it stays that way. My main concern is that even healthy people seem to have trouble fighting it off...let alone how it would affects kid and babies. Just praying for a hedge to protect us all.....

It is a little scary, but I really feel that God will protect us. When my mom got sick and almost died in the hospital 10 years ago, the doctors told us that because she had never been on ANY medicine or antibiotics, that she had a much stronger immune system than others. I feel that because we all don't weaken our immune system with drugs and antibiotics, that we have a stronger immunity. I just hope that is true. We just have to be careful until this passes (hopefully). I have kind of worried about it, but I know that God allows what he wants to happen, so I'm trusting him.
Love and prayers, Jules

Oh, I forgot to mention that it also worries me about older people and small children. We'll just have to keep on praying for their safety :) (also Jules :)

I've been praying diligently myself. It is no different than anything else though, there are thousands of deadly diseases out there. God has everything in his control. I do keep checking on it though!

I am reading about it as well. I just hope that people who aren't well are responsible and stay home. If everyone did that it would subside quickly. However, like Gale said the regular flu kills thousands of people every year and this is one is truly no different, but they dont have a vaccine for it like the other one.We will be making sure we use the sanitizing wet wipes on grocery carts and using hand sanitizer when we go out. Everything is in God's hand as we continue to pray for Him to watch over and protect us, so that brings me great comfort.

I need to update my sidebar...and I will make sure to switch yours out because it isnt showing your new posts on mine. Loved catching up on yours!

There was a senator on CNN that said 33 years ago there was a Swine Flu epidemic. 1 person died of it and that could have been from other causes. However 25 died from the inculation.
